The team at Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados is headed by Maritza Reategui, who is highly specialised in the intersection between life sciences and intellectual property. The practice has established particular expertise in assisting clients with matters related to the COVID-19 pandemic – such as the use of medical devices, vaccines and diagnostic reagents – and the regulatory requirements inherent in the growing use of cannabis in the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food industries.
