David Malamed specialises in corporate and real estate acquisition finance and financial restructuring for foreign and French investment funds, international companies and mid cap companies.
Prior to co-founding Moncey Avocats, David was a partner in Desfilis and in the Paris office of Brown Rudnick in the Financing and Restructuring department. Previously, he was in charge of the Finance department at August Debouzy, co-head of the Finance department at Weil Gotshal & Manges in Paris, and partner in charge of the New York office of Gide Loyrette Nouel for 10 years, where he stayed for 16 years, in charge of Real Estate Finance for clients such as the Whitehall funds (Goldman Sachs). David began his career at White & Case in New York in Aircraft Finance. David Malamed holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (1994), a D.E.A in Business Law from Paris II and graduated from Sciences Po Paris (Public Service) in 1991. He is admitted to the Paris and New York bars.
