Software matters, database law, data protection, privacy and computer contracts are particularly strong areas for a team with deep technology expertise. Practice head Pablo A Palazzi is renowned for his technology knowledge and is an authority on the IP aspects of internet law, data protection and outsourcing. Senior associate Carlos Octavio Mitelman, who has built up a strong IP prosecution and litigation practice, and associate Loida Gabriela da Cruz, who joined from Clarke, Modet & Co at the end of 2023, provide further support. Since publication, the practice has been notably strengthened with the hire of Mariano Peruzzotti - formerly at Ojam Bullrich Flanzbaum - whose practice takes in IP, unfair competition, life sciences, data privacy and technology, media and entertainment matters, among other issues; effective as of March 2025.
