Consisting of ‘good partners and associates that are capable of resolving complex issues’, Guerrero Olivos' seven-member real estate team is consistently mandated by major developers, construction companies, investment funds and asset managers. It has notable industry expertise in retail, mining, and food and drink; and representative experience for the group includes significant real estate transactions, financings and leasings, as well as real estate asset management and project development. The full-service practice also assists with a wide range of regulatory and permitting issues, in addition to real estate litigation; and its assistance on real estate projects includes letters of intent for site acquisitions, construction contracts and the eventual sales of units. The department is led by firm managing partner Martín Santa María, who specialises in project development, construction, real estate regulatory work, and the acquisition and sale of real estate projects. In a boost to the practice, real estate law expert Tomás Rosemary, an adviser on site transactions, project acquisitions, title reports, real estate financing, leasing contracts, and real estate litigation, was promoted to partner in January 2024. At senior associate level, Macarena Montt's real estate workload encompasses due diligence processes, real estate developments, construction and developers’ day-to-day matters.
