Jointly led by Guanxiong Wu and Yan Liu, the Tian Yuan Law Firm securities and capital markets department excels in handling ‘highly complex and important deals’. The team advises on the full range of capital markets transactions with particular strength in domestic issuance. Working closely with the firm’s Hong Kong office, it increasingly advises on Hong Kong IPO and overseas issuances. Its caseload also features a mix of overseas listings, refinancing and privatisation of listed companies, and bond issuance. Liu assists clients on both ECM and DCM matters; Zhu recently advised a top manufacturing company, which was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, in its privatisation project. Xiaohui Zhu has a special focus on representing state-owned enterprises in investment and restructuring projects.
