Acclaimed for its ‘rigorous and strategic analysis’, Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas’ environmental law group continues on its upwards trajectory and added ten new clients during 2024/25, including Interconexión Eléctrica and Colombina. Well versed across a wide scope of compliance, environmental sanctioning procedures and litigation cases, the team contributes extensive experience in the energy and natural resources, transport, manufacturing, infrastructure and agroindustry areas, among others. Director Margarita Lorduy fronts the practice and is an ’excellent professional’; she provides ongoing advice to several companies on environmental law matters including ISA Intercolombia and Sociedad Puerto Industrial Aguadulce. The group also draws on the senior experience of national resources co-head Hernán Rodríguez, while junior associate Valentina Vivas provides dedicated support to the environmental law practice.
