Hogan Lovells (Paris) LLP houses a high-level and comprehensive practice within its Paris office, gathering excellent French and UK law securitisation, derivatives, and structured finance expertise. The team assists a prominent client base of French banks acting as arrangers, while equally advising originators in dealing with a full range of matters, from regulatory guidance to the structuring and distribution of financial products. In the securitisation space, the practice is particularly involved in the automotive sectors (auto loans and lease receivables) while also advising on securitisation transactions involving home, SMEs, and solar loan receivables. In the derivatives field, the team assists leading French banks with the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of embedded derivatives and derivatives-linked securities and warrants in transactions, as well as on the negotiation of master agreements. The team is co-headed by the highly regarded structured finance and securitisation experts in Sharon Lewis and Laura Asbati , and derivatives adviser Katia Merlini .
