The ’exceptional’ Elías Arriaza oversees the civil law department, which covers civil, commercial, constitutional and administrative litigation, as well as institutional and ad hoc arbitration (where the firm’s recent caseload includes high-profile disputes in the telecoms and construction sectors). The criminal litigation side of the practice is led by seasoned partner Lionel Aguilar, who also heads the firm’s compliance department, and Astrid Domínguez, who is well versed in criminal tax, IP and environmental cases, in addition to advising on compliance and risk management. Experienced associate Alejandro Sánchez joined the firm from Núñez Dubón & Asociados in March 2024.
