The team advises an array of local and multinational clients on their trademark protection strategies in Guatemala and Central America, covering registrations and renewals, enforcement litigation and IP portfolio audits. The ‘excellent’ Hania Krück, who was recently appointed as regional director of IP and is particularly noted for her experience in IP matters in the “orange economy”, leads the practice alongside Juan Sebastián Soto, whose wide-ranging expertise extends to technology transfers and the IP aspects of distribution and franchise agreements.
