In December 2023, Naschitz, Brandes, Amir & Co. boosted its planning and zoning offering through its absorption of real estate and restructuring firm Cohen, Wilchek & Co. Among the new arrivals, new department head Eli Wilchek is considered by some as ‘one of the top three specialists in his field’; he brings to bear an impressive record in advising municipalities, developers and individuals, among others, on zoning approvals, property development, and public procurement. The newly merged group also draws on Ofir Cohen, who specialises in land use and development law, and Ariel Pal.
