The banking and finance team at Mori Hamada advises Japanese and international clients on the full range of financial transactions. The team is active in corporate loans, structured and real estate finance, venture debt, and derivatives. Team leader Masanori Sato has extensive experience in the areas of structured finance, capital markets, real estate, and infrastructure. Sato has also been involved in sustainable finance matters and other projects designed to achieve carbon neutrality. Hiroki Aoyama covers syndicated loans and LBOs, while Takahiro Kobayashi advises on structured finance and securitisation. Other key members include Kei Shirakawa, who covers leveraged and project financing, and Yusuke Suehiro, who focuses on banking matters and LBO financing.
