White & Case LLP has a strong global securitisation group in which the London team plays a key role. From RMBS and CMBS to SME and auto loans, or more exotic asset classes, the firm has a strong track record in high-value and complex transactions. Derivatives specialist Ingrid York co-leads the structured finance practice along with Debashis Dey, whose broad practice spans Islamic finance sukuk transactions, regulatory capital trades, commercial and residential mortgages, and consumer finance securitisations, and Tom Falkus, who acts for arrangers, originators, asset managers, sponsors and investors in performing and non-performing loan portfolio acquisitions and financings, securitisations, restructurings, refinancings, warehouse facilities, and asset-based lending. Dey was recently involved in a novel deal for Goldman Sachs, which acted as senior lender to a forward flow securitisation of sharia-compliant funding facilities to SMEs originated via the Beehive origination platform in the United Arab Emirates. Chris McGarry and Adam Farrell both left the firm in early 2025.
