Baker McKenzie represents multinational and domestic consumer goods and retail companies on a wide range of matters, including advising on day-to-day corporate matters, providing blue chip strategics and financial sponsors with transactional expertise, and representing retailers on the entire spectrum of product, supply chain, trade and sanctions and liability disputes. The team is led by the corporate specialist experienced in cross-border M&A and joint ventures’ practitioner, David Scott, and consumer, commercial, and technology expert Julia Hemmings. Helen Johnson, who boasts longstanding relationships advising large-scale fashion retailers and consumer-focused private equity funds, joined the firm from CMS in September 2025. Helen Brown left the firm in March 2025.
