Kingsley Napley LLP fields a team of ‘excellent advocates for vulnerable clients’. Under the joint leadership of Simon Hardy and Ryan Mowat, the practice is well equipped to help clients with their health and welfare matters. The department is particularly well regarded for its work on cases involving serious allegations of fraud and financial abuse. It is regularly involved in cases with criminal issues and media interest, with the majority of the team's clients lacking capacity due to a catastrophic brain injury. However, clients suffering from age-related capacity issues also form a significant part of the client base. Jemma Garside was promoted to the partnership  in May 2024 – she manages high-value property and affairs deputyships.
