The practice group at DLA Piper Mexico has experience across a range of banking and finance transactions, particularly bilateral financings, acquisition finance, capitalisations, asset-based loans, workouts and project finance. The team is regulalrly instructed by both lenders and borrowers, including notable banks, financial services companies and other financial institutions. Leadership is shared between Edgar Romo, who also co-leads the firm's Latin America finance practice group and specialises in structured finance, project finance, securities offerings, restructurings and M&A; and Roberto Ríos, whose practice is centred on project development and supporting developers and financial institutions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
