Hogan Lovells' bankruptcy and restructuring team is well-versed in restructuring transactions, voluntary and involuntary reorganisation proceedings and bankruptcy procedures. Domestic and foreign banking institutions, international funds and insolvent companies frequently feature on the group's client roster. Leadership is shared between a group of five partners, comprising Mexico City-based Federico De Noriega, Omar Guerrero, Jorge Francisco Valdés and Luis Ernesto Peón; and René Arce Lozano, who is based in Monterrey. De Noriega focuses on financial and M&A transactions; Guerrero acts as Mexico City office managing partner and specialises in dispute resolution and restructuring, as do Valdés and Peón. Arce Lozano, for his part, handles structured financing operations, debt restructurings and project finance.
