Dispute resolution: litigation

The disputes team at Greenberg Traurig, S.C. has ample experience in civil and commercial litigation, with matters involving damages claims and contractual breaches, among others. The practice additionally handles a large volume of administrative proceedings and constitutional amparo appeals before federal, state and administrative authorities. Acted as counsel to the National Potato Council in various litigations related to the decree by which the Mexican Government intended to comply with a long-term commitment to allow imports of fresh potatoes from the U.S. for human consumption, detailing a series of mitigation measures that had been agreed to by the U.S. and Mexico in an operational work plan.
Represented Parque Solar Don José, Villanueva Solar and Parque Solar Villanueva Tres in a litigation filed by Enel Services México and Kino Contractor seeking to nullify the final award obtained in ICC arbitration case No. 25587/JPA/AJP.
Represented Tauroplaza México in defending against an amparo filed by the civil association Justicia Justa,  which sought to have the laws and regulations permitting bullfighting declared unconstitutional, thereby preventing bullfights from being held in Mexico City.
