Hernández & Cía's June 2024-hire of Pamela Arce (formerly counsel at De Bracamonte, Haaker & Castellares) as head of the bankruptcy and restructuring team puts the firm squarely on the map for such matters. Arce spent a decade as an associate at leading bankrupcty specialists Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas and will lead a group that also includes fellow partner José Goyburu and senior associate Julien Labory-Alicq. Since publication, Arce has deaprted (effective May 2025), with the firm moving rapidly to bring in Gerardo Guzmán E, formerly a counsel at Arbe Abogados, the following month.
