Operating out of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP‘s San Francisco office, Melinda Haag is called upon by companies facing consumer and securities class actions for both trials and settlement talks, in addition to leveraging her experience as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California to assist clients facing white collar and other regulatory investigations. March 2024 saw Haag negotiate a $490m settlement for Apple in a securities class actions stemming from comments made by CEO Tim Cook on the company’s business in China, which was approved in September.
