The team is co-chaired by Washington DC-based Paul Hagen, who remains the first port of call for market access, global supply chain, and product stewardship matters, and Allyn Stern, who offers deep industry experience and key advice to businesses on environmental compliance strategies and government regulations from the Seattle office. Elsewhere in the DC office, John Cruden advises on environmental and natural resources compliance, while Russell LaMotte assists multinational clients in developing product compliance and market-access strategies. The Seattle office is home to Eric Christensen, a key name for renewable and traditional energy companies on regulatory matters, and Dave Weber, who is active in environmental compliance counseling across air and water quality regulation, hazardous waste handling, and contaminated site cleanups. Leading the International Environmental Practice Group from the Austin office, Maddie Boyer handles environmental regulatory counseling and enforcement matters. Karen Hansen left the team in 2024, while the team expanded with several new hires including Patrick Redmond, who joined in April 2024 from the US Department of Agriculture.
