Based out of New York, Steven Matays leads the practice, with significant experience representing clients on a wide range of international tax matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and other divestitures. Based in Washington DC, Claude Stansbury advises a client roster formed of multinational companies, private equity funds, and financial advisors on cross-border acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and disposals. Stansbury also holds significant experience in advising financial institutions and large multinational clients on financial products and derivatives. Joe Soltis, based in New York, is a key contact handling both private and public M&A tax advice. Sarah Katz joined the team in 2024 from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
